The Wizard in Training Trilogy, a pre-K tabletop RPG adventure series

These StoryGuider games are from the Wizard in Training trilogy! These games concentrate on learning about problem solving and building skills (like tracking inventory, using spells, and taking on slightly more challenging quests) to prep kids for the next TTRPG that you’ll try with them!

Review of Adorablins, a cute goblin-themed tabletop RPG that fits in a tin!

I was very fortunate to play a pre-release copy of Adorablins, and had a great time using it to have some super cute, goblin-themed adventures diving through portals and rescuing everything from a cake to a missing cow across distant lands such as Dinosaur Island and New York City!

Interview with Kristin and Tim, creators of Adorablins!

As soon as I saw Adorablins, I was excited to try it out and interview the creators. It looks super cute and, it turns out, the original version was played with a 2.5yo in mind, so perfect for introducing to my kid! I had a lot of fun chatting with Tim and Kristin about their experiences, their game, and their advice as both parents and creators!
Inspirisles - a tabletop RPG for teaching sign language to teens

Review of Inspirisles, a uniquely beautiful sign language tabletop RPG for teens!

Inspirisles is a beautifully illustrated game that utilizes sign language as one of the core spell casting components!  Since I saw it, I knew I wanted to try it out with my kid, and I was very excited to see him pick Inspirisles up right away (he even asks for it as the sign magic game now).  Inspirisles is a truly teaching tool and game, and I hope you give it a try!

Interview with Michael Low, creator of Starsworn and Luck of Legends!

I previously reviewed Michael’s game, Starsworn and listened to the playthroughs on Stories Podcast, and they were both so good, I kind of had to do an interview. Michael has a lot of experience and insight in playing TTRPG’s with kids and has done wonders for the kids in his educational programs! We talked about the games, advice, why TTRPG’s work so well with kids… so much solidly helpful information.
