My goal with this list of tools to support your kid-focused TTRPGs

My goal is to help you find the resources you need to set your kids up with a fun tabletop RPG experience.

While TTRPGkids itself is a resource, it’s in the form of providing advice or helping you find games and tools that you can use to create, start, or support your games. With this list, I want to help you find tools that you can plug into your existing games and use as a fun supplement to what you’re already running or considering.

Some recommendations here connect you to character cheat sheets and journals that make it a little easier to play D&D while others lead you to map builders that have been tested with kids so they can have some creative fun in helping to build the game with you. I want this to be a fun and engaging experience that kids can participate in and that makes it just a little easier to have an exciting (and not bogged down) adventure together.

Using your judgement when using tools outside TTRPGkids

I created this list based on my own XP with these tools or from recommendations that others have made to me. However, as with all resources, it is important for you to use caution when using them with kids and to evaluate them yourself before letting your kid use them. Sometimes your view of what might be apporpriate can differ from mine or others, so please use this list as a recommendations list but evaluate yourself to your particular players and their needs.

Recommendations and corrections to this list of TTRPG tools

If you have recommendations for additional tools to add or if you see a correction is needed, please contact me through the site’s contact page and let me know how your experience with them has been and why you think they’d be a good addition to the list. I am happy to make updates and want all my information to be correct.
