StoryGuider: The Rune Warrior’s Tale – a collaboration with Family Fantasy RPG!
StoryGuider: The Rune Warrior’s Tale is a collaboration project between Family Fantasy RPG and TTRPGkids! Using the TTRPGkids’s StoryGuider system and the Family Fantasy RPG characters and world, we bring forth The Rune Warrior’s Tale. This adventure is the origin story for the rune warrior’s mysterious powers and gives very young kids an opportunity to practice RP, using a map, and tracking inventory before being introduced to game mechanics.
This game uses the StoryGuider system and is intended for ages 2-5. It includes everything you need for describing different choices. It also has color-able pictures to go along with the story and to be used for coloring breaks.
This story focuses on practicing the following skills:
- Make choices between a few options
- Point to pictures when they are named and/or naming pictures
- Give short answers (1-4 words)
- Play simple make-believe games
- Color pictures and doodle
- Drawing maps
- Using quest inventory
In addition, all proceeds from this game will be going to charity! We will rotate which charity we are donating to as Family Fantasy RPG and TTRPGkids participate in different charity events. Our first charity is to NDCS (National Deaf Children’s Society) in partnership with an upcoming event supported by Rich from Hatchling DM! The price for the game is set to zero with your chosen donation going toward the fundraising goal.
