For more sleuthing adventures, check out Monsterous Detectives, an investigation story game in which you develop the case, the clues, and the solution over the course of the game by answering randomly drawn questions.

Create your monsters, the detective agency, your client, and your new case, then investigate to solve it all in this one-shot, zero prep, GM-less game for 2-6 players! Find it here on Kickstarter!

Triple-O by Cezar Capacle

Triple-O
player character emulator
play solo as the GM!

Triple-O is a tool for solo RPG players who want to invert roles and play as the GM instead of a character. This resource allows you to dynamically and naturally emulate character behavior and actions, making it ideal for running published adventure modules or exploring your own creations.

This resource is great for folks who want to play solo or test out a new game before playing with friends and for first time GM’s and creators who want to pre-playtest their creations. Find it here on Backerkit!

Lantern Light by Guild Chronicles

Lanternlight
A flexible, quick, creative & fun TTRPG created by kids for kids

Lanternlight grew out of the games that the creators played as a family and is made for kids and by kids! It’s designed to be flexible, creative, narratively-focused, and quick to learn. If you’re looking for a game that you can play as a family, Lanternlight is a great place to start.

Focusing on narrative elements with a rules-lite system that can be adapted to any genre, this is a solid choice for players of any age. Find it here on itchio!

Class Cheat Sheets by Icarus Games

A square image showing the class cheat sheets for 5e 2024, which depicts a red-skinned dragonborn and text describing the barbarian abilities for the game. Text at the bottom of the image reads: "Make learning and playing 5e 2024 easier than ever! Class cheat sheets for revised fifth edition

Tracking everything in D&D can be a little hard, especially if you’re new to the game. That’s where the Class Cheat Sheets come into play!

Never forget your class’ abilities again with these digital sheets thanks to simple, natural language, trackers for core abilities and icons to make finding things on the page easy. Find the project here on Kickstarter (launching Feb 10).

ALSO… I’ve previously checked out the 5e Class Cheat Sheets by Icarus Games on TTRPGkids here, and they are pretty awesome. This set will be fore revised 5e so you can stay up to date with the most recent game version!

Rigs & Races in Roomino by Explore ROOMS RPG

Rigs & Races in Roomino!

This is a double zine project! Expanding on the Best Family Game ENnie nominated Let’s Go to Roomino, RIGS in Roomino! and RACES in Roomino! are two zines that will add opportunities to explore puzzles, complexity, timed pressure, and wider arcs as you see fit for your players.

Explore ROOMS RPGs are for when players can’t sit still at a gaming table and are a great way to engage a new player who needs some solid activity during gameplay! Find it here on Kickstarter!

We&We by EX FIRST GAMES

we&we
a gamified philogopy of life designed as an open, real-world RPG

We&We is a gamified philosophy of living, designed as an open, real-world cooperative RPG focused on awareness, self-improvement, and shared well-being.

The book uses the language of games to visualize personal progress and uses gamification to encourage personal growth and well-being. Simply by being aware of yourself, you are already playing we&we. I like to think of it as a real-life RPG, in which you are both the player character and the game master. The story is open-ended, and you get to write it.

This one seemed pretty interesting and like a fun way to connect self-reflection and awareness with gaming concepts that apply to real life, which I think is something that we can practice at any age. Find it here on Kickstarter!

Magika Nostalgica by Matthew Sargent

Magika Nostalgica is inspired by popular toys of the 90s and the wish-inducing catalogs that contained them. This project is a zine of magic items, like the Bonk-It, Figures of Action, and Soaker Supreme, for D&D 5e, letting you add some totally cool gear to your existing games.

This supplement can be a fun addition to your games while letting you share some of your own childhood joy with the “new kids”. Find it here on Kickstarter!

Raspberry Juice by tchinaboy

Raspberry Juice is an adventure for Fängelsehåla that is loosely based on the plot of a popular Israeli children’s storybook called “Mitz Petel” (raspberry juice in Hebrew). Characters are anthropomorphic animals who adventure through fantasy lands and addressing the conflicts that are brewing about them.

This game is designed for all-ages with storybook vibes that players young and old should be able to enjoy together. Find the game here on Backerkit!

Mystery Snacks by TTRPGkids

bite-sized capers for your TTRPG table
Ingredients for delectable mysteries

This one is my project (by Steph from TTRPGkids)! I’m turning Mystery Snacks, previously a digital only release, into a zine and doing some major updates on the formatting thanks to help from layout artist boRyan from Gravy Press.

This project is going to have a rules-lite system for mystery-solving antics and 2-pager adventures to set you up with ready-to-go adventures. Find it here on Backerkit!

MORE games to check out during Zine Month 2026

In this section, I’ll list games that are either slightly off-center from being fully all-ages tailore or are all-ages by that were submitted after my polling period for the event. Check out what’s here now AND come back mid-Zine Month for updates!

One Page TTRPG Bundle Volume #2 is my partner project for Zinetopia on Backerkit! This game bundle will include a set of single page TTRPGs that are not necessarily designed for kids but that will have a tendancy to be easier to introduce to new players due to their rules-lite, compact nature. Find it here on Backerkit!

Axolotl with a Gun by Bright Bard Games

axolotl with a gun
an arcade-style coin-op TTRPG
human made

Axolotl with a Gun is a fast-paced video-game style TTRPG where you fight the horrors laying siege to your swamp. Choose your favorite character, learn their combos, and pick the gun (and associated dicepool rules) that will make your particular build unique!

While not made specifically for kids, this TTRPG does have a VERY cute axolotl on the cover that my kid immediately thought was cool. We have an earlier print version of this game at home, and it is a particular blend of cuteness and violence that I will say does particularly vibe with 7 year old.

Find it here on Kickstarter!

Request your game to be added to the all-ages TTRPGs during Zine Month post

If you would like to see your project added to this list, please fill out the form linked here AND drop a note on the TTRPGkids discord channel for the event so I know that I need to check the form. I will not be checking the form regularly since it is after the core polling period, however, I will review if you leave me a note on the server.

I hope this list helps you to find some awesome resources for making your own games, and… If you liked this post, make sure to subscribe to the TTRPGkids monthly newsletter to stay up to date on the latest reviews, tips and tricks, game and podcast list updates, and more!
