TTRPGkids on Ludology Podcast, Episode 2: What to do when kids go “villain mode”

In the second episode of TTRPGkids on Ludology Podcast, I chat about how a kid’s behavior in game can mean something totally different from what you’d expect and how to turn “villain” choices into something positive for later.

Ludology podcast is a discussion-based show about the hows and whys of tabletop games! They have longer form episodes every other week, and, on one of the off weeks each month, we have the TTRPGkids show! These shorter episodes will cover topics that are focused on tabletop RPGs for kids and youth, and I’m excited to share the link to the second episode here!

In Episode 2, I talk about how to read and handle when kids make choices that seem violent, destructive, or concerning to parents who maybe don’t want fighting or murderhobo behavior in their games. It’s based on one of my earlier articles (which you can find here), and I hope it gives you some ideas to try out in your games!

Thank you for tuning in, and… if you liked this article and want to stay up-to-date for future podcast episodes, please subscribe to the TTRPGkids monthly newsletter to get a 1/month summary of the latest reviewstips and tricksgame and podcast list updates, and more! Thank you for playing tabletop RPGs with your kids and sharing this awesome hobby with the next generation!
