What is TTRPGkids doing there?
I wanted to sponsor this event, versus just vending, because I wanted to support the cause. I have seen and felt, first hand, backlash on my work because of just who I am (for those that don’t know TTRPGkids is run by Steph, who is non-binary), and I know that who I am has likely affected how people generally view my work.
I also know how having a couple of supportive friends in the TTRPG space who understand has helped me to come out the other side of all that with more confidence and resilience.
Community is important, and I see this event as being a community builder in addition to helping authors find an audience. My hope is that my sponsorship and spreading the word on the event can help make it a little bit easier for folks to attend and for authors to showcase their books and meet others in the space.
My sponsorship means that I’m providing a little extra funding to help the event take place, I’ll have a booth where I’ll be selling my own books, and I’ll be including printed versions of two games, Colorful Characters and Wispers, in the VIP swag bags:

I’m also helping spread the word, and… I hope to see you there and find community with other authors in the area!
Again, you can sign up for the event via this page, and, as always, happy gaming!
